My name is Ellen and I’m a passionate sewing teacher with a lifetime of experience working in the industry. I have semi retired but still offer several classes every week that you can book at short notice.
I offer individual sewing classes (classes can also be shared) in all aspects of sewing in my spacious studio near Corsham, 20 minutes from Bath, Wiltshire.
Whether you need urgent help with a sewing project, want to extend your sewing skills, simply get started, or want to try a new skill. I can help with:
Understanding patterns and construction techniques

Sewing and overlocker machines

Dressmaking and tailoring

Fitting and pattern alteration

Copying existing items and pattern preparation

Soft furnishings, curtain and blind making

Fabric crafts
e.g. quilting, patchwork, applique, free motion embroidery, bag making etc
Booking a Sewing Class
Classes are booked online (and paid for when you come by card or bank transfer). You can share a class with a friend…just book with 2 names.
Classes are limited and the timeslots vary from week-to-week, the booking calendar will be updated every Friday evening – so hopefully you will find a timeslot that is good for you.
The classes are 2 hour slots, but may be extended on application.
The price is £80 for 2 hours for your first lesson or shared lessons.
This reduces for individuals only to £70 if you book more lessons.
